Holiday Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
    1/4 cup milk
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    2 tablespoons butter, melted and divided in half
    1 egg, beaten
    8 oz cream cheese
    1 cup small curd cottage cheese
    5 green onions, finely chopped
    1/2 cup butter flavored crackers, crushed
Preparation
    Cook potatoes until tender.
    Drain and put in a large bowl. Add milk and half of the melted butter, fold in egg, cottage cheese, cream cheese, and onions.
    Place in a greased baking dish. Combine crackers and remaining butter and sprinkle over the potato mixture.
    Bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 20-30 minutes, or until crackers are lightly browned.
