Foolproof Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 3/4 c. shortening
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 large egg
    1/2 c. cold water
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix together flour, salt, shortening and sugar until crumbly. Beat together with fork egg, cold water and vinegar.
    Combine both mixtures.
    Divide into 5 portions.
    Shape into patties and wrap in wax paper and chill 1/2 hour before using.
    Can be frozen for later.
    Will keep for long time in freezer.
