Cream Of Asparagus Or Zucchini Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh asparagus or zucchini
    1 c. chicken broth
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 large onion, quartered
    1/2 tsp. sweet basil
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
    1/2 c. whipping or heavy cream
Preparation
    Discard coarse ends from asparagus or trim and slice zucchini thickly.
    In saucepan, bring the vegetable, onion, broth, salt, pepper and basil to a boil and simmer 20 minutes.
    Empty all into blender; cover and blend on high speed.
