Cottage Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. butter or margarine
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Sift flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.
    Add egg, milk and melted butter and beat well.
    Bake about 20 minutes at 400\u00b0. Serve with vanilla or lemon sauce.
    Serves 6 to 8.
