Butterscotch Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1 egg
    3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Coat an 8 x 8-inch pan with cooking spray. Melt butter and remove from heat.
    Mix in sugar; cool.
    Add egg. Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add sugar and butter to mixture.
    Blend in vanilla and walnuts.
    Bake 25 minutes.
    Do not overbake.
    Cut while warm.
