Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. self-rising flour
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. vegetable shortening
    2 c. buttermilk
    2 pkg. yeast (red label)
    1/4 c. lukewarm water
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
    Mix all dry ingredients together and put in shortening.
    Add to milk and yeast; stir until well blended.
    Grease light sided bowl and place all or part in a bowl.
    Sit in refrigerator.
    Keeps 2 weeks.
