Dump It Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (24 oz.) large jar sweetened applesauce
    2 (6 1/2 oz.) cans crushed pineapple
    1 pkg. dry yellow cake mix
    1 c. butter
    1/2 c. walnuts, chopped (optional)
Preparation
    Grease 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Layer applesauce, pineapple and nuts. Spoon over dry yellow cake mix.
    Melt butter and pour on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Top with whipped cream.
