Babe Ruth Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. white Karo syrup
    1/2 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. creamy peanut butter
    1 c. Spanish peanuts
    6 c. corn flakes
    1 1/2 Hershey bars (4 oz.), broken in pieces
Preparation
    Bring to a boil the Karo syrup and sugars.
    Remove from heat, add
    the
    peanut
    butter
    and mix.
    Then add the Spanish peanuts and
    mix.
    Next add the corn flakes and mix.
    Pat into a 9
    x 13-inch buttered pan.
    Add the broken chocolate pieces. Warm in the
    oven
    until
    able to spread the chocolate with a knife.
    Cut into squares when cool.
