Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head iceberg lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces
    1 small onion, chopped or sliced into rings
    3 stalks celery, chopped
    1 small green pepper, chopped
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas, cooked, drained and cooled
    1 (1 pt.) jar Hellmann's mayonnaise
    4 hard-cooked eggs, grated
    8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
    6 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In a large bowl, layer ingredients in order given.
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
