Chicken Enchilada Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 or 1 1/2 c. chicken broth
    1 small can chopped green chilies
    1 chicken (2 1/2 to 3 lb.), stewed, boned and chopped
    1 pkg. (12) corn tortillas
    3/4 lb. grated Longhorn cheese
Preparation
    Brown onion in butter, gently.
    Combine with soups, broth, chilies and chicken pieces (I add a dash of sherry).
