Noodles With Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. cabbage
    8 oz. wide noodles
    1/4 lb. margarine
    1 large onion, diced
    2 or 3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. caraway seed
Preparation
    Grate cabbage, or if preferred, may be sliced as for cole slaw.
    Sprinkle with salt and allow to stand 1 hour.
    Squeeze water out.
    Melt the margarine; add onion, sugar and caraway seed and cook until tender.
    Add cabbage; keep turning and simmer until done.
    This takes about 25 minutes.
    Season with black pepper.
