Scripture Cake(Bible Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. Psalms 55:21 (butter)
    2 c. Jeremiah 6:20 (sugar)
    6 Isaiah 10:14 (eggs)
    4 1/2 c. 1 Kings 4:22 (flour)
    2 tsp. 1 Corinthians 5:6 (leavening/baking powder)
    pinch of Matthew 5:13 (salt)
    1/2 c. Isaiah 28:17 (water)
    2 tsp. Psalms 19:10 (honey)
    8 1/2 tsp. Song of Solomon 2:13 first clause (figs or apricots)
    2 c. Numbers 17:8 (almonds), chopped
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar together.
    Add eggs and beat well. Sift and measure flour with baking powder and salt.
    Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with water.
    Stir in honey and spices.
    Add raisins, figs and almonds.
    Pour into 2 greased loaf pans.
    Bake 50 to 60 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Cool and frost or serve plain.
    Let set until cool.
    Slice and eat.
