Butter Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 stick butter or margarine, softened
    1 egg
    4 Tbsp. cream or evaporated milk
    1 c. raisins, currants, or chopped dates
    Pinch of salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    Rich pastry to line muffin tins
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Line muffin tins with a rich pastry.
    Fill only 2/3 full with above filling.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 20 minutes.
