Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
2/3 c. sugar
dash of salt
1 c. dark corn syrup
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 1/4 c. pecans
unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Preparation

Beat eggs slightly with mixer; add sugar and salt until dissolved.
Stir in corn syrup and melted butter; mix well.
Stir in pecans and pour into pie shell.
Make cover for pie by rolling square of foil around edges to form round tent to cover pie. Secure under lip of pie plate.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes. Remove from pie and bake 15 minutes longer or until knife inserted in middle comes out clean.
