Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cakes yeast
    1 c. warm water
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    4 eggs
    4 c. hot water
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    2 tsp. salt
    3 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/3 c. dried milk
    6 c. flour
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water with 1 teaspoon salt and 1 tablespoon sugar.
    In large bowl, mix hot water, 1 cup sugar, shortening, eggs, salt, vanilla and dried milk.
    Add enough flour to make soft dough.
    Add yeast mixture.
    Mix in enough flour to be able to handle dough.
    Set in warm place to raise until double in bulk.
