Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour, lightly packed
2 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
3 heaping Tbsp. cocoa
3 eggs, separated (save egg whites for meringue)
1/2 c. butter or margarine
dash of salt
Preparation

Mix sugar, flour, salt, cocoa and egg yolks until they are blended well; then add water and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
When mixture becomes thick enough to stick to a spoon remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla flavoring.
Pour into baked pie shell.
If you do not make meringue, a dollop of whipped topping is wonderful on this pie!
