Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked squash
    1 c. Ritz crackers
    1 c. Cheddar cheese (sharp or mild)
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 egg
Preparation
    Drain squash.
    Crumble crackers and grate cheese.
    Reserve 1/2 of the crackers and cheese for topping. Place squash, 1/2 of cheese, 1/2 of crackers, onion and other ingredients in a 3-quart casserole. Top with remaining cheese and crackers.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
    Serves 6.
