Rice Pilaf(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 Tbsp. butter
    1 c. onion, finely chopped
    1 1/2 c. uncooked rice
    3 c. hot chicken stock (in which white wine was added)
    bouquet garni (1 parsley stem, 1 bay leaf and thyme wrapped in a green onion stem)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. white pepper
Preparation
    Saute 2 tablespoons butter and onion on High for 6 minutes. Stir one time.
    Add rice; cover with wax paper and cook on high 2 minutes.
    Add stock, the bouquet garni, salt and pepper.
    Cover with plastic wrap and cook on High 20 minutes.
    Stir halfway through cooking time.
    Let stand, covered 10 minutes.
    Remove bouquet garni.
    Dot top with a fork to fluff rice and taste for seasoning.
    Makes 4 cups.
