Ingredients

1/2 c. Butter or Margarine
1 1/2 c. Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 c. All-Purpose Flour (sifted)
1/4 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Baking Powder
1 c. Chopped Walnuts
Preparation

In a saucepan, combine the butter and brown sugar.
Cook over low heat until bubbly, stirring constantly.
Cool, add the eggs one at a time, to the cooled mixture.
Beat well after each, then add vanilla.
Sift the dry ingredients together.
Add the brown sugar mixture along with the nuts.
