Buttermilk Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. plain cornmeal
    2/3 c. all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredient; add eggs and buttermilk, mixing well. Pour batter into 2 greased 8-inch square pans.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
    Cut into squares.
    Yield: 16 to 18 squares.
