Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 to 4 c. Bread Flour
1 tsp. Salt
1 pkg. Dry Yeast
1/4 c. warm Water
1/2 c. Sugar
1 c. hot Water
1/4 c. vegetable Shortening
1 Egg beaten
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Pour hot water over sugar and shortening.
Cool to lukewarm.
Add 1/2 c. flour.
Mix thoroughly. Stir in softened yeast, egg, salt and half of remaining flour. Beat thoroughly.
Add enough flour to form a soft dough.
Turn out on lightly flour board.
Let rest 5 to 10 minutes.
Knead until smooth and elastic.
Place in greased bowl, turn to grease top. Cover.
Let rise until doubled.
Punch down.
Cover and refrigerate.
When ready to bake, cut or shape into rolls.
Let rise in ungreased pan until doubled in size.
Bake at 425 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
Dough may be stored in refrigerator at least 4 days.
