Meat Loaf Wellington - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 1/2-oz.) can beef gravy
    1 1/2-lbs. lean ground beef
    1 c. small bread cubes
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/4 c. minced onion
    1 tsp. salt
    Dash of pepper
    5 refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
Preparation
    Combine 1/4 cup gravy with ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, salt and pepper, mix thoroughly. Shape firmly into loaf. Place in shallow baking dish. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Separate rolls, place crosswise over top and down sides of meat loaf, overlapping slightly. Bake 15 minutes more. Meanwhile, heat remaining gravy. Serve.
