Grandma Rose'S Hungarian Lecho - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 to 6 young red potatoes
    1/2 large white onion
    1 large green pepper
    2 c. water
    1 jar garlic and onion spaghetti sauce (16 oz.)
    2 large beef sausage links
    seasoning blend (Mrs. Dash, Nature's Blend, etc.)
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Finely chop pepper and onion and set aside.
    Peel and chop potatoes into small cubes. Place butter in a large stew pot and lightly saute potatoes.
    Add seasoning to taste, usually lightly covering potatoes will do.
    Stir constantly. Add pepper and onion and continue to saute with potatoes. Stir. Slice sausage into thin slices and add to sauteed mixture. Stir. Add full jar of spaghetti sauce and completely blend mixture. Add water and mix until it is consistency of thick stew.
    More seasoning may be added, if desired.
    Let simmer on low heat for 15 to 25 minutes or until potatoes are soft. Serves 5 to 6 people.
