Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. buttermilk
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. shortening
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients in large mixing bowl.
    Cut in shortening to dry ingredients until crumbly.
    Add buttermilk, one cup at a time; mix well.
    Place dough on floured board and knead dough until it is workable.
    Roll dough 1/2-inch thick and cut biscuits.
    Bake on greased cookie sheets at 450\u00b0 for about 15 to 20 minutes.
