Coleslaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    1 medium onion and green pepper
    1 heaping Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1/2 can pimentos
Preparation
    Shred cabbage fine.
    Chop onion and green pepper.
    Mix with salt in a deep bowl.
    Pour boiling water over this.
    Cover and let stand for 1 hour.
