Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

round steak
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 onion, sliced
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. fat
1 c. hot water or tomato juice
Preparation

Pound flour and seasonings into steak with steak hammer (or edge of plate).
Melt fat in skillet.
Brown meat on both sides over medium heat.
Place in casserole.
Add water or juice (juice preferred) and onion.
Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
