Cherry Torte - cooking recipe

2 sticks melted butter
2 c. flour
1 c. nuts
8 oz. cream cheese
1 box powdered sugar
8 oz. Cool Whip
2 cans cherry pie filling
Preparation

Mix melted butter, flour and nuts.
Spread in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar, then add the Cool Whip.
Mix and pour over crust.
Pour pie filling over mixture.
Keep refrigerated.
