Strawberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. cleaned strawberries
    3 to 4 tsp. artificial sweetener
    1 (1 3/4 oz.) pectin
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Crush strawberries in saucepan.
    Stir in lemon juice, powdered pectin and sweetener.
    Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat and continue stirring for 2 minutes.
    Pour into sterilized jars half pint size, to within 1/4-inch of top.
    Put on cap and screw tight.
    When cool, store in refrigerator.
    Yield:
    2 1/2 pints.
