Lemon Bisque - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small pkg. lemon jello
    1 1/4 c. hot water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 lemons, juice and grated rind of 1
    1 large can evaporated milk, chilled
    vanilla wafers
Preparation
    Dissolve jello\tin
    water.
    Add sugar, lemons and salt. Chill, and when
    begins
    to
    jell, whip.
    Whip milk and add to jello mixture.
    Crush and line large Pyrex dish (10 x 14-inches) with wafers;
    pour
    in
    jello
    mixture.\tTop
    with
    wafer crumbs.
    Cut in squares.
    May be topped with whipped cream and a cherry.
