Nutty Apricot Cake - cooking recipe

1 (18 1/2 oz.) box yellow cake mix with pudding
1 (16 oz.) can apricots (undrained)
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Prepare the cake mix as per the directions on box. Omit the water. Substitute the apricots (chopped) and their syrup for the water. Mix per box directions. Stir in walnuts and cinnamon. Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan. Sprinkle the pecans on the bottom of pan. Pour the batter and bake per box directions. No topping is necessary; just remove from pan, slice and serve.
