Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box cake mix, baked by directions
    1 instant vanilla pudding
    2 c. milk
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 large crushed pineapple with juice
    5 or 6 bananas
    frozen or fresh strawberries with juice
    nuts
Preparation
    Mix pudding with milk.
    Break cake into pieces about golf ball size.
    Cover bottom of punch bowl with cake.
    Top with layers of fruit, pudding and Cool Whip.
    Repeat.
    Top with Cool Whip and nuts.
    Garnish with cherries.
