Our Favorite Oatmeal Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. quick oats
    1/2 c. whole wheat flour
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    2 c. boiling water
    1 pack (1 Tbsp.) dry yeast
    1/2 c. warm water
    5 c. white flour
Preparation
    Combine oats, wheat flour, sugar, salt and margarine in a large bowl.
    Pour boiling water over this.
    In a separate bowl dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water.
    When batter is cooled to lukewarm, add yeast.
    Stir in 5 cups flour and knead 5 to 10 minutes.
    Place in a greased bowl, cover and let rise until doubled in size.
    Punch down and let rise again.
    Shape into 2 loaves and place in greased 9 x 5 x 3-inch pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Cool on a rack, brushing loaves with margarine for a soft crust.
