Shakedown Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 stick butter
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. almond extract
    1 pkg. slivered almonds
Preparation
    Mix and put in a pie tin.
    Scatter almonds on top of batter. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Take the cake out of the oven, drop on the counter and put back in the oven for 10 minutes.
    Cool and eat.
