Grandma'S Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1/3 c. butter or lard
    2 eggs
    1 c. molasses or sorghum
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. ginger
    1 tsp. soda, dissolved in a little warm water
    1 c. sour milk
Preparation
    Cream brown sugar and butter.
    Add eggs and blend well.
    Stir in molasses.
    Sift dry ingredients together.
    Add alternately with sour milk.
    Pour into greased and floured 9 x 12 x 2-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes or until tested done.
