Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
2 tsp. soda
2 c. applesauce
1 c. pecans
1 c. raisins
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 to 3 c. flour

Preparation

Cream sugar and butter together.
Mix soda with 1/2 cup water. Mix all ingredients together.
Grease and flour 4 (9-inch) cake pans.
Pour batter into pans and bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 350\u00b0.
