Nannie Kidd'S Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 lb. oleo or butter (2 sticks)
5 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Preparation

Let eggs and oleo get to room temperature. Cream oleo and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add flour a little at a time, but just blend; do not beat. Add flavoring last. Pour into a greased bottom tube pan (do not grease sides). Bake at 300\u00b0 until straw comes out clean (about 1 hour).
