Squash Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. boiled, mashed drained squash
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    2 eggs, well beaten
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Melt butter; add drained squash.
    Let cool.
    Combine sugar and beaten eggs; add cooled squash, flour, vanilla and baking powder. Put in greased pan (6 x 8-inch) and bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
    Serve hot as a vegetable or cool as a dessert.
    Serves 6 to 8 people.
