Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 qt. milk
    3 to 4 well beaten eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. vanilla or lemon flavoring
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Cook rice for seven minutes.
    Add margarine and milk.
    Cook slow for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
    Add remaining ingredients and stir until thickened.
    Pour into dish and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
