Apple Butter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 qt. cooked apple pulp
4 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. cinnamon red hots
1/4 c. cider vinegar
Preparation

Make pulp by cooking apples and running through strainer or Foley mill.
Mix all ingredients and cook until it thickens or desired consistency.
Put in hot jars leaving 1 inch at top. Process in boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
Test the seals.
I make this in the crock-pot.
Less danger of sticking and much easier.
