Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
    2 eggs (use 3 if using small ones)
    1 (1 oz.) bottle red food coloring
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 Tbsp. cocoa (optional)
Preparation
    Mix sugar, oil, eggs, food coloring, vinegar and vanilla. Sift flour and soda together and add to sugar mixture alternately with buttermilk.
    Pour into prepared cake pans (3 layers or a 13 x 9-inch).
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 25 minutes.
    May need to bake sheet cake a few minutes longer.
