Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. plus Tbsp. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
6 Tbsp. cocoa
2 c. cake flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/4 c. boiling water
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 egg whites
Preparation

Cream shortening with sugar.
Add egg yolks.
Sift together cocoa, cake flour, soda and salt.
Add alternately with milk, then add boiling water, vinegar and vanilla.
Fold in beaten egg whites.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
