Fried Fruit Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. dates, chopped
    2 c. Rice Krispies cereal
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. cherries
    1/2 c. nuts
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
    coconut
Preparation
    Set electric frypan to 220\u00b0 or use medium heat on stove.
    Melt butter and add dates, stirring constantly until thick, shiny and clear.
    Cream eggs and sugar; add to date mixture and cook.
    Cool; then add remaining ingredients except coconut.
    Form into small balls (golf ball size) and roll in coconut.
    Refrigerate.
