Raw Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. Crisco shortening
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
1 c. raisins (optional)
1 c. chopped walnuts
4 c. tart apples, sliced thin
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation

Cream together shortening, sugar and eggs.
Add dry ingredients, mix well.
Fold in raisins, walnuts and apples.
Bake in 9 x 12-inch greased and floured pan for 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
