Easy Oven Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. beef, cut in 1-inch cubes
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. oil
    3 potatoes, cubed
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1/4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    5 carrots, cut
    28 oz. Hunt's whole tomatoes
Preparation
    Coat beef with flour, salt and pepper; toss with oil in 3-quart casserole.
    Bake, uncovered, at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Stir once; add remaining ingredients.
    Cover.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 2 hours or until meat is tender.
