Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk combined with 1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 3/4 c. small pieces rhubarb
Preparation

Mix ingredients (except flour and rhubarb), then add flour and fold in rhubarb. Add topping.
