Oven Beef Stew(Serves 8) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew beef, cut in 1 1/2-inch cubes
    6 carrots, sliced in thick rounds (2 c.)
    1 onion, diced
    3 stalks celery, diced (approximately 1 c.)
    1 lb. potatoes, cubed (approximately 1 c.)
    1 small pkg. frozen peas
    1/2 to 3/4 c. V-8 or tomato juice
    2 to 3 heaping Tbsp. Minute tapioca
    1 small pkg. frozen peas
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine meat, vegetables, juice, tapioca, sugar and salt. Place in 11 x 7-inch pan (or larger).
    Cover with foil.
    Bake in 250\u00b0 oven for 3 to 4 hours.
