Green Beans Parmesan - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    8 large shallots, sliced and separated into rings
    6 c. water
    2 lb. fresh green beans
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper, freshly ground
    1 c. fresh Parmesan cheese, shaved
Preparation
    Melt butter in pan. Add shallots and cook until golden. In another pan, bring water to a boil. Add beans and cook 10 to 12 minutes. Drain beans. Stir in shallots, salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese. Serves 8.
