Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. corn bread mix
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1 c. cream-style corn
    3 to 4 chopped jalapenos
    dash of garlic
    2 eggs
    1/3 c. bacon grease
    1 onion, finely chopped
    1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except cheese.
    Pour 1/2 mixture in pan. Add grated cheese (sprinkle on).
    Add rest of batter.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 in preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until brown.
