Cucumber Sandwich Filling - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cucumber, grated (not peeled)
    salt to taste
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 pkg. Good Seasons Italian dressing mix
    1/4 c. chopped onion (optional)
Preparation
    Sprinkle salt over cucumbers and let soak until moisture builds up.
    Squeeze dry (don't rinse).
    Mix all ingredients. Chill overnight or at least 4 hours.
    Soften to spread on bread. I use rye bread.
