Gingerbread Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. molasses
    3/4 c. oil or lard
    1/2 c. hot water
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    6 to 7 c. flour (original recipe, use 1/3 c. whole wheat)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 heaping tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Combine first four ingredients, using hot water to rinse out molasses cup.
    Mix in dry ingredients, using more flour if needed. Refrigerate dough.
    Roll out and cut with a cookie cutter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
